Pupil Absences

If any pupil is away from school, parents are to contact the school office by 9.30am to advise us of the reason. This can be done by informing the school office in person,  leaving a message on the absences line on the telephone, sending an e-mail  office4@mrps.school.nz, or by completing an absence notification form on the School Stream app .

Families wishing to take children out of school for a day or more, for any reason, must contact the Principal.  A medical certificate is required if a child is away for more than three days due to sickness.  

Please inform the school in writing if the pupil and the family are going away on an extended holiday before you commence your holiday.
