International Students

We welcome applications from international students looking to study in a New Zealand Primary school (Years 1-6).

Mt Roskill Primary School abides by the Code of Practice of Pastoral Care of International Students, as published by the Ministry of Education.

Immunisation records and full health insurance cover is required.

Students are permitted to study on a 'Visitors Visa' from the date of issue up to 12 weeks, then a 'Student Permit' is required.

The process for applying at Mt Roskill Primary School as an International Students is as follows...

1)  Email admin@mrps.school.nz or phone Mrs Julie Olsen (International Student Administrator) on +649 620 5050 for further details.

2)  A formal interview with the Deputy Principal will be required to discuss your child's needs and your family's personal situation, in order to assess the suitability of a placement at our school.

3)  To proceed with enrolment, you will be provided with an "International Students' Enrolment Pack", which includes forms for you to complete and further information to support your child's education at our school.
